Horse Racing Stretched Odds

Stretching is a process when the bet odds are raised to the fixed value of the odds - then the company can achieve the same effect when the fractional odds were used. In this case odds become higher and the max win value grows. The higher odds are called stretched odds with its stretched bonus.

Some values of the odds are not stretched because there is no reason to raise it to the fixed value. Stretching is applied only for the odds values which are taken from the stretch table. Odds stretching is determined by using decimal odds format and shown by using the Honk Kong odds format. Decimal odds are calculated: decimal odds = Honk Kong odds + 1

Odds can be stretched only at the Horse Racing games when the bets of fixed win and fixed place bet types are selected. It is important that odds will not be stretched if cross betting is used (for example, a punter wants to place a bet from Horse Racing and Lotto games at the same betting slip. The odds of the selected bet options should not be stretched).

Odds stretching can be set through the Admin website. Login to Admin system, go to the Management tab, select your organization, in the main settings scroll down until you find setting 'Stretch horses odds'. You can enable this setting when editing configuration of your organization.

Using single betting slip, the stretched bonus is displayed as Extra Bonus:

the amount of Extra Bonus is written near the stretched bonus. It is calculated by this:

extra bonus = (stretched odds - standard odds) * stake

stretched odds are shown under the standard odds;
max win value of the single betting slip (example is shown below in the screenshot) is determined by using this formula (numbers mean the number of the bet leg):

max win = stretched odds₁ * stake₁ + odds₂ * stake₂ + stretched odds₃ * stake₃

Odds stretching is applied at the single betting slip:

when stake is selected from the quick stakes or entered manually - total stake should be higher than 0.00;
when bet type of the bet selection is fixed win or fixed place. If bet selection is of the other bet type or a selection is selected from the other game, stretching of the odds is not applied;
when the odds of the bet selection is less than 100.00.

Using multibet betting slip, the stretched bonus is displayed as Extra Bonus for the whole bet by stretching the total odds of multibet betting slip:

the amount of Extra Bonus is written under the all bet selections. The odds of the multibet selections are multiplied to determine the total odds. For this example on the right, total odds = odds₁ * odds₂ * odds₃. Then Extra Bonus is calculated:

extra bonus = (stretched odds - total odds * (1 + multibet bonus percentage / 100)) * total stake + (total odds * multibet bonus percentage / 100) * total stake

stretched odds are shown as the total odds of the whole multibet betting slip;
max win value of the multibet betting slip is determined by using this formula:

max win = stretched odds * total stake.

Odds stretching is applied at the multibet betting slip:

when stake is selected from the quick stakes or entered manually - total stake should be higher than 0.00;
when a bet type of the all bet selections is only fixed win or fixed place. If at least one bet selection is of the other bet type or a selection is selected from the other game, stretching of the odds is not applied;
when total odds * (1 + multibet bonus percentage / 100) of the multibet betting slip is less than 100.00.

Important: if the stretching conditions are not satisfied and multibet bonus is applied, only the multibet bonus (multibet bonus percentage and bonus amount) is displayed instead of stretched bonus. If stretched bonus and multibet bonus are not applied, then the additional information about bonus is not displayed.
