Global Numbers Betting Rules

  1. Terms
    1. Lottery - a form of gambling that involves the drawing of numbers at random for a prize.
    2. Draw - an act of selecting balls randomly to decide winners in a lottery.
    3. Odds – numerical expression determined by an organisation, which is multiplied by the amount of the player’s stake to calculate the winnings.
  2. Betting Rules
    1. Each unique lottery has its draws that occur at specific times predetermined by a lottery organizer.
    2. Each lottery has individual betting time, with bets closing time ranging from 5 minutes to several hours before the draw.
    3. Lotteries operate under 4 different formats:
      1. Regular lotteries where all balls are drawn from a single chamber with no bonus balls drawn.
      2. Single-chamber draws with regular balls and bonus ball(-s) drawn from the same chamber. If 6 balls and a bonus ball were drawn from a single chamber of 49 balls, the lottery format would be marked as (6+1)/49.
      3. Two-chamber draws with regular balls drawn from the first chamber and bonus balls drawn from the second one. If 5 balls were drawn from one chamber containing 45 balls and a bonus ball was drawn from another chamber containing 20 balls, the lottery format would be marked as 5/45+1/20.
      4. In Pick 3 and Pick 4s, every ball is drawn from its own chamber. If it's a Pick 4, 4 balls are drawn from their own chambers with each chamber containing 10 balls with numbers from 0 to 9. This lottery format would be marked as 4x(1/10).
    4. The two more rule - the drawn balls must be resulted in draw order and only the first drawn bonus ball is applicable for the bet.
  3. Betting limits
    1. Betting limits are set by each organisation that adopts the product. They can be configured in the Aardvark Technologies administrator interface.
  4. Betting Types
    1. Classic - Which number(-s) will be drawn, excluding bonus number(-s).
    2. Classic (Incl. Bonus) - Which number(-s) will be drawn, including bonus number(-s). This bet type is offered on lotteries that have a single chamber with a bonus drawn from the same chamber.
    3. In Order from 1st - Which number(-s) will be drawn in the exact draw order. Applicable only to lotteries that are resulted in draw order.
    4. Crazy - Which number(-s) will not be drawn, excluding bonus number(-s). This betting market does not apply to Pick 3s and 4s.
    5. All - All drawn numbers will be odd or even, excluding bonus number(-s).
    6. Sum - Sum of drawn numbers will add to an odd or an even number, excluding bonus number(-s).
    7. More - Choose whether there will be more odd or even numbers drawn, excluding bonus number(-s).
    8. First (Odd/Even) - Choose whether the first drawn ball will be odd or even. Applicable only to lotteries that are resulted in draw order.
    9. First (High/Low) - First drawn ball will be higher or lower than a given threshold. Applicable only to lotteries that are resulted in draw order.
      1. The higher and lower number is calculated by dividing the number of balls that the first ball will be drawn from in half. For example, UK 49’s Lunchtime (6+1)/49 draws 6 balls from a chamber of 49 balls. The system divides 49 into two categories - Low (1-25) and High (26-49). Note that the categories are not completely equal due to the lottery having an odd number of total balls. In such a case, we treat the bet option with a lower probability of winning with higher odds.
    10. Bonus (Odd/Even) - Bonus ball will be odd or even. If there is more than one bonus ball drawn, then two more rule applies. Only available for lotteries that have bonus ball(-s).
    11. Bonus (High/Low) - Bonus ball will be higher or lower than a given threshold (see 4. section i part I). If there is more than one bonus ball drawn, then two more rule applies. Only available for lotteries that have bonus ball(-s).
    12. Power/Bonus - The exact bonus or powerball number(-s). Only available for lotteries that have bonus ball(-s).
    13. Classic + Power - This is a mix of Classic and Power/Bonus betting markets where punters have to guess which regular number(-s) will be drawn and which bonus number will be drawn. This betting type only applies to lotteries where one bonus ball is drawn.
  5. Special cases
    1. Each individual case of a lottery draw being postponed or cancelled is being treated separately. The rules below apply to most cases, but might be amended in individual scenarios if the situation requires it.
    2. Postponed draws
      1. If a lottery draw is postponed, there are two possible scenarios that may happen:
        1. The information is known before the draw, and the draw is rescheduled in advance
          1. The draw takes place at the rescheduled time and is resulted normally.
        2. The information about the postponement is not known before the draw
          1. If the postponed draw happens in the next 24 hours from the initial lottery draw start time, the draw is deemed to have taken place and is resulted accordingly. For example, if a lottery draw usually happens at 20:00 on Thursdays, but due to local reasons happens on Friday at 20:00, the draw is resulted normally without any amendments.
          2. If the postponed draw happens after 24 hours have passed after the initial lottery draw start time, or the draw doesn't happen at all, the lottery draw is cancelled, and all bets placed on that particular draw are void.
          3. If a lottery draw is postponed and it conflicts with other draws of the same lottery, i.e. the draw is postponed to the day of the next draw, the following procedure is performed:
            • If the draw takes place earlier than the regularly scheduled time, the draw next in line is resulted, i.e. if the postponed draw falls within the 24-hour period, it is resulted regularly.
            • The original draw is evaluated anew, i.e. after resulting the previous draw, the new draw of that day is treated as a separate entity, and all rules are applied to it step-by-step.
    3. Cancelled draws
      1. If the information about a cancelled draw is received, the draw is cancelled immediately and the 24-hour period is not being applied.
