Although all Habanero Instant Games differ in their design and graphics, their fundamental process is the same. The user has to select the sum he/she wants to bet, and then the slots start to spin automatically to determine whether the spin is winning or not.

Every game features its own winning lines (paylines), i.e. lines that determine the winning amount of each spin. The user has to spin mostly three or more adjacent symbols from at least one of those lines in order to win.

Although every game's win structure is different, all pays are left to right on adjacent reels.

Each Habanero Instant Games features a way to get free games, i.e. free spins, within the game itself. Each of the games has its own way of earning free games, but most of the time it involves spinning at least three scatter symbols in certain places of the reels. • Before Time Runs Out - an Alladin symbol and 1 or more Jafar symbols appearing on the same spin trigger a duel feature where if Alladin wins, 2 symbols on screen change into Wild symbols
• Knockout Football - When 3 or more balls are collected, a super striker feature is triggered where all collected balls are turned into Wild symbols and are kicked to random positions on reels 2,3,4, and 5 before the reels land.
• Fortune Dogs - any dog symbol that appears on reel 1 will turn all symbols on screen of the same kind into double symbols that act and pay as 2 symbols while any dog symbol that appears on reels 1 and 5 will turn all symbols on screen of the same kind into triple symbols that act and pay as 3 symbols.

Habanero Instant Games feature a global jackpot that is available for all players to win. A small amount of money from every bet goes directly into the jackpot, which then randomly drops within its limits.

Jackpot amount and all its limits can be set for each organisation individually. Once the jackpot is won, it resets to its constant starting limit. All jackpot wins are added to regular wins.
