Horse Racing

Overview

Horse Racing is an advanced interactive product offered by Aardvark Technologies that leans on a craze that horse racing provides for millions of fans worldwide. We offer thousands of races each year from 3 providers:

Cashier Interface

There are two ways to bet on horse racing - either from the initial horse racing page or by selecting an individual race. Only the first three upcoming races are shown to a wider extent on the initial page, other races can be accessed by clicking on them on the bottom part of the page - a single race betting page then appears. All horses are sorted from lowest to highest via betting odds, if odds are not available - horses are sorted usually, by their horse number.

Each Way Betting

An Each Way (EW, E/W) bet is essentially two separate bets: one for the horse to win, the other for the horse to place in any of the place positions offered in that race. It means that a customer can receive a return on his/her bet if the selection wins, but also if it just places.

Each-way selections can be placed after selecting a horse to win the race. The user only has to click the corresponding 'EW' button near the selection to convert it into an each-way bet. If more than one horse for more than one race is selected, the option to convert the entire bet into a system of win and each-way bets will be presented near the ticket's stake.

The each-way coefficient is presented in the race information section. It is then applied to calculate the final odds of each-way selection.

As with other selections, if the horse is a non-runner, the each-way selection will be void.

Tote Betting (Lithuania Only)

Tote betting essentially works in a similar way to the lottery. Punters pick their horses and put their money into a cumulative pool – everyone with a winning ticket shares a percentage of the pot. If fewer people back a horse, punters who back a winning horse get a greater share of the pot.

The feature is currently valid only in Lithuania.

Tote Betting Screen

Tote betting requires a specified racing token. Only after enabling it in the admin interface can the user take advantage of the tote betting feature. Tote betting screens are available to be reached by adding a &configOverride={"totalizator":true} parameter at the end of the betting screen link. It enables the tote betting layout for the organisation.

Tote Betting Cashier Interface

Once the aforementioned racing token is enabled, only Lithuanian manual races are left in the offer.

Note: Only SP Win bets are available for Tote Betting

The rest of the cashier interface is the same as with any other horse race.

Tote Betting Racing App

Tote betting can be managed via Aardvark Technologies racing support app. As mentioned before, tote betting whitelists only manual races from Lithuania.

Each race can be created separately and managed throughout the entire racing process. Users can insert odds, manage the overall racing status as well as assign a status for each horse.
