Live Greyhounds

Live greyhound racing is a product offered by Aardvark, and is similar to Dogs. Aardvark offers exclusive betting on races, 364 days a year, from the BAGS UK greyhound tracks (24,000 races/year), supplemented with races from Australia (46,000 races/year) & America.

Intervals between races vary, but races are expected to average every 3 to 4 minutes, with 7 minutes being a maximum duration between races.

Players can take fixed prices for both win & forecast (exacta) bets or take SP dividends for win, place, forecast (exacta) & tricast (trifecta) bets.

Races from the UK have 6 runners, whereas those from Australia and the United States have 8 runners.

  • All bets are on trap numbers and not on named dogs
  • If you bet on a trap with a non-runner, you will get your money back
  • In the case of dead heats, if affected your total pay-out shall be divided by the number of winning combinations
  • All bets will be settled on the basis of the official result as first announced
  • Starting Price is the odds of a trap at the time the race starts
  • To win, you must choose which trap number will finish 1st in a race
  • You must select either a Fixed Win Bet (based on track betting shows) or an SP Win Bet (where the dividend is declared by the track at the start of each race)
  • If you select a trap and the runner is changed via a reserve dog, and you have selected a Fixed Win Bet, your bet will be converted to an SP Win Bet

To win you must choose which trap number will finish 1st or 2nd or 3rd in a race. The number of place dividends depends on the number of runners taking part in a race. Payouts and win conditions for Place SP Bets:
